Julia Palmer is a British violist with a background in chamber and orchestral playing. She has a bachelor's degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and a master's degree from the Grieg Academy.

With over 10 years of experience playing professionally with orchestras, Julia has performed at prestigious festivals and concert venues including the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Ludwig van Beethoven Festival in Poland, and at Bergen Festspillene.

Alongside live performing experience, she has also worked extensively in recording studios in a range of settings from album sessions to film soundtracks. She has experience with recording from local studios such as Under the Bridge, Hackney Blue and Bergen Kjøtt, to Abbey Road Studios.
